TO AMEND AND REPEAL VARIOUS SECTIONS OF ARK. CODE ANN. 6-15-1001 ET SEQ. RELATIVE TO ARKANSAS EDUCATION GOALS AND PERFORMANCE ACCOUNTABILITY.
TO REQUIRE STUDENTS GRADUATING FROM PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOLS TO HAVE SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED THE COLLEGE PREP OR TECH PREP CORE CURRICULUM FOR UNCONDITIONAL ADMISSION TO PUBLIC INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION.
TO PROVIDE THAT TAKING THE MOTOR FUEL OF ANOTHER WITHOUT PAYING FOR THE SAME CONSTITUTES THE CRIME OF THEFT OF PROPERTY.
COMMENDING DR. RODNEY CARLTON FOR HIS FORESIGHT AND LEADERSHIP IN ESTABLISHING THE STATE CRIME LABORATORY AND URGING THAT THE CRIME LABORATORY BUILDING BE NAMED THE DR. RODNEY L. CARLTON COMPLEX.
REQUESTING CONGRESS TO FULLY FUND THE FEDERAL SHARE OF STATE VETERANS HOME CONSTRUCTION PROJECT REQUESTS FOR FISCAL YEAR 1998.
